Meaning 7: God will be there for us and give us counsel in our hearts during the day as well as in the night too. When we turn to Him and He will share with us the things we need to know. Question 7: Do I listen to God when I call out to Him. Do I look to the scriptures too? 8 I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Meaning 8: When we have God with us then we will have Him working for us and in us and we will not be the kind of person that goes to and from God all the time. Question 8: Do I stand in His direction and allow Him to direct me? Take Away!!

Meaning 4: Those who do not follow the one true God will have more sorrows than those that know the one true God because they have no peace from God. And if they have never received the gift of salvation God will not welcome them to heaven. Question 4: Do I let people know that they are worse off not knowing God? 5 O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot. Meaning 5: We have a great inheritance when we have received God's gift of salvation. He will give us what we need to keep going in life. Question 5: Do I look to the Lord for my inheritance and for Him to maintain my life daily? 6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance. Meaning 6: We see that our inheritance is heaven and life with God forever. It will be so sadness, sickness, or death. We will be greatly blessed with a heavenly home and life on the new earth too. Question 6: What will we do in heaven and on the new earth? It will have pleasant places in our good inheritance from God, what will that be? Take Away!!
I need to make sure that everyone that I know has the opportunity to receive God's gift even if they choose not to. I need to help them have the choice. ~ Psalm 16:1-3 ~1 Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust. 2 O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.” 3 As for the saints who are on the earth, “They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.” 1 Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust. Meaning 1: When we put our trust in God He will be there. We can be preserved like canning fruits, but through God as we will hold onto Him. Question 1: Am I preserved in God's will? Do I hold on to Him in my heart set in God? 2 O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.” Meaning 2: When we are His and hold the Lord in our heart we are different in a way we cannot be without God. Question 2: Do I call Him Lord? Do I live my life as He is my Lord? 3 As for the saints who are on the earth, “They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.” Meaning 3: We are all saints when we receive the Lord Jesus. We have the opportunity to be sure in the Lord and stand for Him to be His delight. Question 3: Is my life worth being delighted in? No, But does He still delight in my good things? Yes. Take Away!!
I need to stand for the Lord and be His child obeying and loving Him. ~ Psalm 15:3-5 ~3 He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; 4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the Lord; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; 5 He who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. Meaning 3-5: The things that we should stay away from. God is telling us what things we need to stay away from. Question 3-5: Do I not do these things? Am I obeying God and being a good person? 5b He who does these things shall never be moved. Meaning 5b: When we stand for God and do the right thing, He will keep us solid and steadfast, we will not be moved from a strong life in Him. Question 5b: Do I stand steadfast in God's will for my life? Am I holding Him and being His always? Take Away!!
I need to be sure that my life is standing as what God desires for me and I am obedient and good for Him. ~ Psalm 15:1-2 ~1 Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? 2 He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart. 1 Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? Meaning 1: We are not worthy to abide or dwell in the places that God lives. But because of what Jesus did on the cross we are able to go before Him and cry out to Him through Jesus blood. Question 1: Do I live my life in a way that will please God and show others that He is there and we can approach the Lord God? 2 He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart. Meaning 2: Do we speak truth all the time? Does our hearts walk upright and do we work righteousness? We have to have that in our lives for blessings to flow. Question 2: Do I show that I am upright and righteous? Do I have truth in my heart? Take Away!!
I need to remember to walk uprightly and speak truth when speaking. Lies only breed more lies. ~ Psalm 14:7 ~7 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad. 7 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad. Meaning 7: God is going to come back to take Israel and set them right. We need to be holding onto God's knowledge and work at reaching Israel too. God will be back and is ready to stand us up and bring out the captivity. Question 7: Do I stand behind and watch over Israel as God is desiring us to do? Take Away!!
I need to keep my feet grounded and ready for a new life in Christ when He returns to set us free. ~ Psalm 14:5-6 ~5 There they are in great fear, For God is with the generation of the righteous. 6 You shame the counsel of the poor, But the Lord is his refuge. 5 There they are in great fear, For God is with the generation of the righteous. Meaning 5: It seems like the generation of the righteous has passed and everyone is doing awful things. People should be in great fear. Question 5: Does my walk with the Lord make people want to have that too and be more righteous? 6 You shame the counsel of the poor, But the Lord is his refuge. Meaning 6: The unrighteous are shameful and awful people, but if they call out to God, He is willing to be their refuge and change their life. Question 6: Do I show a righteous life that others will see as different than the world? Am I staying in the arms of God so that He is my refuge? Take Away!!
I need to live a life that shares the goodness of God and what He can do for our lives. ~ Psalm 14:3-4 ~3 They have all turned aside, They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one. 4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call on the Lord? 3 They have all turned aside, They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one. Meaning 3: Reading that verse you know that the earth is going down that hill quickly. I knew that verse from learning in AWANA, but it is Romans 3:12 They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.” Twice in the Bible makes us realize it is really important and that they had the scriptures learned. We need to be on the good side. Question 3: Do I realize when things are in the Bible more than once they should be known. Important things God desires us to know? 4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call on the Lord? Meaning 4: This Psalm talks about the evil ones that do wrong are always taking advantage of the little people and help them to be more down cast than they already were. Those people do not call on the Lord but turn away from Him. Question 4: Do I stand in God through the hard times and hold on tight? Take Away!!
I need to make sure my attitudes and actions follow God's will for my life and do not show favor to the enemy in my life. ~ Psalm 14:1-2 ~1 The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good. 2 The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. 1 The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good. Meaning 1: Those who do not believe there is a God are fools, the facts are laid out and God is the creator of all. They do bad works because they do not believe that they will be punished or found out. They will have the biggest surprise of their lives. Question 1: Do I try to let people know that there is a God out there that loves them and wants the best for Him? 2 The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. Meaning 2: God wants us to seek Him and He watches for us to seek Him and want to know Him. God will be right there to respond when we call out for Him, you just have to ask. Question 2: Am I good at letting others know that God is waiting for them and wants them to be in His family? Take Away!!
I need to be sure that God can be in me so that I have His help when I need to witness. ~ Psalm 13:5-6 ~5 But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. 6 I will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with me. 5 But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. Meaning 5: As always after David whined and complained, he tried to turn his mind back to who God is and what He had done for David. Question 5: Do I turn to praise and thanksgiving after I have complained to God? 6 I will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with me. Meaning 6: David is singing and thanking God as normal. He always knew that God would give all to Him as long as he held onto God. Question 6: Do I sing to the Lord and realize that He is doing great things in my life? Take Away!!
