Father, we ask that You would take care of our lives and watch over us as we study Your word and know that we are ever getting closer to You. I cannot believe how this study makes me think and learn more than just reading the scriptures. Yet it is easy and fun to do. I pray that others will enjoy it too. In Jesus Name, Amen!! John 10:7-10 7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. Fact 1: Then Jesus said to them again, "Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. Meaning 1: Jesus had to put the parable in plain speaking to allow them to get what He was saying to them. He was once again speaking spiritually and they were thinking literal sheep. Question 1: Do I think of what I am reading in a spiritual light in the parables that He puts in His Word? Do I need the plain speaking to get what He is trying to teach me? Fact 2: All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. Meaning 2: The chosen of God did not follow the thieves and robbers when they came. In other words false teachers and people preaching another gospel. We who are chosen did not believe in them. Question 2: Do I stand trying to bring others to the true words of God? Do I believe what Jesus says and follow Him? Fact 3: I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. Meaning 3: This is where Jesus is teaching that He alone is the way into heaven. People can try to get into heaven in other ways, but we can only get there through Jesus. Those chosen for salvation have a life greater to look forward too as well. Question 3: Do I look forward to the new world? Am I a bit nervous about going to heaven and living in that new surrounding? Fact 4: The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill and to destroy. Meaning 4: The enemy the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy everyone he can. He wants to take as many people to hell as he can and works hard at getting ahold of them. He then tries to destroy our witness to others as well. Question 4: Do I guard my heart against the devil? Do I hang onto Jesus in everything that I do? Fact 5: I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. Meaning 5: God does not only want us to have life, he wants us to have abundant life. He wants us to lean on Him and stand in His ways and He will give us great abundant life. Question 5: Do I find evidence of abundant life in my life? Do I follow and stand in God so that I have the life He desires for me? Take Away!! I need to be close to the Lord and witness to all the chosen people of God .. He has them ready and we just need to be ready to speak when needed. Father, thank You for a good reminder that You are the door we must go through to get to heaven. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to You Father, but through Jesus. In His Name, Amen!!

Father, I ask that You would forgive any sins that I am not sure about to ask and help me to be ready to listen to Your word and know You are speaking to me. each day. Help us to enjoy our study and feel like we know more each day. In Jesus Name, Amen!! John 10:4-6 4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6 Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them. Fact 1: And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, Meaning 1: When Jesus wants us to go or do something in our lives, He comes to get us and goes before making the way for us to go. We just have to choose to follow our Shepherd and love Him. Question 1: Do I listen for Jesus' voice and follow Him when He goes before me? Fact 2: and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Meaning 2: We need to spend time in the Word and prayer so that we hear and know that still small voice talking to us. Question 2: Do I spend enough time in His word? Is there ever enough time spent in His word? Fact 3: Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers." Meaning 3: We need to know the voice of Jesus, so that when others try to lead us astray we can flee from them and know that it is not what Jesus would want us to do. Question 3: Do I flee the voices that want me to do wrong? Do I get close to Jesus so I know His voice to follow? Fact 4: Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them. Meaning 4: The Jews did not know that Jesus was not talking about sheep in this passage, but those of us called to salvation. Question 4: Do I know that we are much like sheep in our ways of following Jesus? We need to follow the Lion of Judah? Take Away!! I need to really spend time in the Word of God so that I know Jesus voice and that I would follow Him alone with no questions asked. I need to know His voice. Father, thank You for an amazing study and the reminder of how we need to follow Your voice and know You well enough that we know Your voice to follow. In Jesus Name, Amen!!
Father, We want to ask that You will bring us to You in a way that shocks even us and help us to grow and change as we go about our days. You are a blessed Father and God and we love You so much. Help us to learn new things today and make new life changes. In Jesus Name, Amen!! John 10:1-3 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. Fact 1: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way. the same is a thief and a robber. Meaning 1: If you own the sheep and they are yours you would have no reason to climb in. So we can know in our lives, that God either calls our name when we do something or someone is leading us astray. He comes to the door for us. Question 1: Do I follow people that lead us into the crazy ways? Do I follow God who calls me by name and shares my life with me? Fact 2: But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. Meaning 2: The shepherd goes right up to the door. Or as with us He stands where we are and calls to us through His word and prayer. Question 2: Do I spend enough time in His word to hear that still small voice to follow? Fact 3: To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; Meaning 3: The shepherd is known to the door keeper and the sheep when God comes to us. Jesus is our Shepherd and Lord and we stand in Him when we hear His voice waiting to be led somewhere in our lives. Question 3: Do I listen for Him to come? Do I recognize that God is speaking to me? Do I spend enough time with Him that I know His voice to me? Fact 4: and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. Meaning 4: The shepherd calls to his sheep and they spend enough time with him to know instantly that it is their shepherd. For us we hear God's voice and know He has something for us to do. We need to be in His word so that we hear Him when He calls. Question 4: How many times have I been so busy with stuff that I missed God calling to me? Do I take time to listen? Take Away! I need to spend more time listening to the Lord so I know His voice better. I need to spend time following Him and knowing His voice. Father, thank You for such a good message about knowing Your voice and following You. In Jesus Name, Amen!!

Father, thank You for coming to save us so that we would know a future of promise and hope. We ask for a great study and a relaxing day. In Your Name, Amen!! Ps 50:12-15 “If I were hungry, I would not tell you; For the world is Mine, and all its fullness. 13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, Or drink the blood of goats? 14 Offer to God thanksgiving, And pay your vows to the Most High. 15 Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” Fact 1: "If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the world is Mine, and all its fullness. Meaning 1: He would not have to tell us that He was hungry because the fullness of the earth was His already and He could have anything He wanted. Question 1: Do we know that all He has was given us at our salvation? We are His children so we have access to all? Fact 2: Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High. Meaning 2: They offered both the flesh and blood to God on an alter in a signal of covering. Now we have Jesus and do not have to sacrifice to God in that way. Jesus gave His flesh and blood for us. Question 2: Do I make sacrifices in my life to God? Do I give up or do more for Him for others as a sacrifice to Him? Fact 3: Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me." Meaning 3: We can call on God any day with troubles to deliver us from or just changes that we want made. When we call on Him and obey what He says we Glorify Him. Question 3: Do I glorify God when I live my daily life? Do I glorify Him with my heart and soul? Take Away!! I need to glorify God in my life, to know what it is that He is doing in me. I need to give of myself to Him so that I can be truly His each day. Father, thank You for reminding us that we need to give of ourselves to truly have and glorify You in all that we are doing. In Your Name, Amen!!
Father, thank You for another day to celebrate Your love and care that You give so freely. We ask that You will watch over us and give us a good lesson today. In Jesus Name, Amen!! John 9:39-41 39 And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.” 40 Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, “Are we blind also?” 41 Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains. Fact 1: And Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may be made blind." Meaning 1: He was coming to die for those who God has chosen and were made seeing by the love of Jesus. But those not chosen were not looking for Him and were blind to Him. Question 1: Do I look for Jesus as I go about my day and see Him working in my life as one of His chosen ones? Fact 2: Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, "Are we blind also?" Meaning 2: They were getting what Jesus was saying here, they were blind as they were supposed to know the scriptures and were still not believing that Jesus was the Messiah. Question 2: Do I look for Jesus coming and live my life in a way that I will not be blind when He works in my life? Fact 3: Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, "We see." Therefore your sin remains. Meaning 3: They did not believe in Jesus and so they were blind in their sin where those who knew they were blind in sin accepted Jesus life and were blessed from their sins when He died and rose. Question 3: Do I explain to others how to stop being blind to the works of the Lord and have their eyes open to the new life in Jesus? Take Away!! I need to be aware of what is going on in the works of the Lord so that I am not blind to the many things that He is doing in my life. I need to be more in tune to Jesus. Father, thank You again for a good lesson on not being blind to what God has to give and do in our lives. I pray that You will keep us holding onto You and getting more out of Your word and the works You do. In Jesus Name, Amen!
Father, Please help us to have a good study today and remember that You love us and You are in control of all that goes on in this world. We can rely on Your Word and knowing that You are the one true God we can talk to. Thank You for bringing us together an giving us a word from You today. In Jesus Name, Amen! John 9:35-38 35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, “Do you believe in the Son of God?” 36 He answered and said, “Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?” 37 And Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you.” 38 Then he said, “Lord, I believe!” And he worshiped Him. Fact 1: Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, "Do you believe in the Son of God?" Meaning 1: Jesus went to find the man who was cast out and see if He truly believed. Knowing the answer but wanting the man to voice it He asked him if he believed. Question 1: Does God question me at times knowing that I need a little chat to get things sorted out in my life? Fact 2: He answered and said, "Who is He Lord, that I may believe in Him?" Meaning 2: The man was anxious to believe in the Son of God. He wanted a life with the Son of God. Question 2: Am I willing to believe in Jesus and what He asks of me in a quick time? Do I converse with Jesus in prayer enough to know His still small voice? Fact 3: And Jesus said to him, "You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you." Meaning 3: Jesus let the man know that it was Him that he needed to believe in. It would be amazing to have Jesus actually ask if you believed in Him. Question 3: Do I get that question sometimes in life? Do I believe enough to tell others and stand up for Jesus ways as well? Fact 4: Then he said, "Lord I believe!" And he worshipped Him. Meaning 4: He did believe, it was an instant word of worship to Jesus for saving him and keeping him in God's family. He believed that day and followed Jesus. Question 4: Do I believe each day and get up and follow Him so others see what He does in our lives? Take Away!! I need to go with the things I learn in God's Word and follow them directly. Giving God all the glory and living my life so that others want to give the glory too. Father, thank You for another study that reminds us about living for You and truly believing that You are the one that works in my life daily. Thank You for loving us so much and for speaking to us through Your Words. In Jesus Name, Amen!!
Father, we come before You in humble adoration, we want to be the people You desire us to be. We stand in Your love and walk in Your ways. Please help us to do as You ask of each of us. We are each unique and different so we are asked to do more in our area of life. Help us to do as we are asked. In Jesus Name, Amen!! John 9:29-34 29 We know that God spoke to Moses; as for this fellow, we do not know where He is from.” 30 The man answered and said to them, “Why, this is a marvelous thing, that you do not know where He is from; yet He has opened my eyes! 31 Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. 32 Since the world began it has been unheard of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind. 33 If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing.” 34 They answered and said to him, “You were completely born in sins, and are you teaching us?” And they cast him out. Fact 1: We know that God spoke to Moses; as for this fellow, we do not know where He is from." Meaning 1: The Jews just did not want to believe in Jesus, they knew that He was something special but they did not want His lessons to be true and so they did not accept Him at all. They tried to turn Him into a villain rather than God. Question 1: Do I work against God at times in my life? Times when I did not want to follow the truth? Fact 2: The man answered and said to them, "Why this is a marvelous thing, that you do not know where He is from; yet He opened my eyes! Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. Meaning 2: The Jews had so many rules in their religion that did not go with what the Bible says. Some were in place until Jesus showed up and died, but we are all sinners. and God hears us through Jesus now. How could Jesus do the wrong thing when He is doing marvelous things. Question 2: Do I believe that Jesus can still do those miracles today? Does He still do them through the people that save us in healthcare and life? Do we know that God is in control? Fact 3: Since the world began it has been unheard of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind. If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing." Meaning 3: Jesus did His miracles, they did not want to believe but the man believed. He knew that Jesus had to be of God because of the great good that He was doing. Question 3: Does my life portray that belief in all that God does in our lives? Do we know that nothing happens without God? Fact 4: They answered and said to him, "You were completely born in sins, and are you teaching us?" And they cast him out. Meaning 4: They did not want to hear from a common man or about Jesus either one. They had their own beliefs and wanted to fit the world into those beliefs. Question 4: Do I try to fit Jesus into my life? Or do I try to fit my life into Jesus? Take Away!! I need to listen to God more, be in His Word and learning how I can fit my life in Jesus and change what I need to change. Every day we can learn from the Bible and great preachers the things that God wants us to learn. We just have to put out the effort for it. To be who He desires us to be and not our own. Father, thank You for a great study on being who Jesus calls us to be and not be just a sinner lost and alone. We have the great comforter and need to share that with all we can. We praise You for loving us and ask that we would have the love we need for You as well. In Jesus Name, Amen!!
Father, I ask that You will be with us and hold onto us. That today we would know that You are God and that You are over us in all we do. Nothing happens that does not filter down through Your hands so life it hard, but You are there. In Jesus Name, Amen!! John 9:24-28 24 So they again called the man who was blind, and said to him, “Give God the glory! We know that this Man is a sinner.” 25 He answered and said, “Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.” 26 Then they said to him again, “What did He do to you? How did He open your eyes?” 27 He answered them, “I told you already, and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become His disciples?” 28 Then they reviled him and said, “You are His disciple, but we are Moses’ disciples. Fact 1: So they again called the man who was blind, and said to him, "Give God the glory! We know that this Man is a sinner." Meaning 1: They wanted him to denounce Jesus and say that God healed him, so as to not give Jesus any praise. They just did not know that Jesus is God. Question 1; Do I give God the glory in all things that happen to me? Do I proclaim it to all who can hear? Fact 2: He answered and said, "Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know; that though I was blind, now I see." Meaning 2: The man knew that Jesus had healed Him and he was praising Him as a prophet that heals right then." Question 2: Do I realize and focus on the fact that it is God behind all that happens to me? Fact 3: Then they said to him again, "What did He do to you? How did He open your eyes?" He answered them, "I told you already, and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become His disciples?" Meaning 3: I think he was trying to get to the Jews by this time, he must have been exasperated at them by now. He also must have become Jesus disciples as he asked if they also wanted to be. Question 3: Do I lead others to You Lord? Do I work at getting people to understand Your great love? Fact 4: Then they reviled him and said, "You are His disciples, but we are Moses' disciples. Meaning 4: Again they were angry because another person believed in Jesus and were His disciple. The Jews just could not believe that Jesus was their Messiah come to them. Question 4: Would I believe that Jesus came at that time? Would I have known enough to follow Him? Do I follow Him as I should? Take Away!! I need to make more people aware that He is God and that Jesus was the Messiah and that they need to turn to Him Our Lord and Savior. Father, thank You for a good study and the thoughts that You are God and that You are in control. The evil in this land did not take You by surprise but You are working through it as well. Keep us standing for You and a blessing for all. In Jesus Name, Amen!!
Father, thank You for hearing us when we call out to you and for all the strength that You give us to make it through each day. Thank You for all you do watching over us and protecting us. You are a blessing as our Father, In Jesus Name, Amen! John 9:20-23 20 His parents answered them and said, “We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind; 21 but by what means he now sees we do not know, or who opened his eyes we do not know. He is of age; ask him. He will speak for himself.” 22 His parents said these things because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had agreed already that if anyone confessed that He was Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue. 23 Therefore his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.” Fact 1: His parents answered them and said, "We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind; Meaning 1: The parents were probably as shocked as anyone that their son could see, knowing he had been born blind. They were sure that he was their son, but they were not mentioned as being there so all they knew was what he might have told them. Question 1: Would I be shocked into silence? Am I shocked at some of the things that God does in my life now? Do I share it? Fact 2: but by what means he now sees we do not know, or who opened his eyes we do not know. He s of age; ask him. He will speak for himself." Meaning 2: They let him speak for himself as he was of age and they had not actually been there when he was healed. All they would know is what he might have told them. Question 2: Do I question the work that God does in my life? Do I deflect work that I could proclaim was Jesus working? Fact 3: His parents said these things because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had agreed already that if anyone confessed that He was Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue. Meaning 3: The people at that time were afraid of the Jews and being put out. They did not know they had a Messiah to follow now and a new life ahead of them. They just knew the old ways and feared the Jews. Question 3: Do I fear those in my life and does that keep me from doing what I know is right? Fact 4: Therefore his parents said, "He is of age; ask him." Meaning 4: He was of age and they could defect the answer back to him. Question 4: Do I stand in Jesus when I need the help to say what is right? Take Away!! I need to stand up for Jesus and hold onto Him when I live my life. We should not hide behind the old customs and be afraid of what man can do to us. God is the one that we are to obey and to show in our lives. Father, thank You again for being there with us and for giving us the strength to stand up for You each day. Help us to be witnesses and strive to keep Your commandments and be yours. In Jesus Name, Amen!!
