I lived with an Aunt and Uncle for the five years I was there. Moms sent money so we had better options than most of my friends. Although my Uncle would not accept much help. My best friend Lisbeth never knew when her next meal would come. We had her over for dinner a lot so she had a meal during the day. There is so much we can do to help out people in need everywhere.
We are both glad to be home, but it is taking a lot to get into the swing of things and my friends wants. Some of them spent more on their first day of school outfit that what we had for food money for the month. My Uncle is weird about accepting help, he works hard and did not want to even 'borrow' the money to build a new home, but finally had to because the old one was falling down around us. He would not take the money he had to borrow it so Mama let him.
Well that is enough today. The photos are all taken by Mama or Nana while we were in Honduras.
