Nalya and her family were traveling in the east, and they lost control of their minivan and rolled over into the river. Nalya was the only one that had her seatbelt on that kept her out of the freezing water. Her parents and brother died from exposure. They were able to get Nalya out and save her. It was an awful thing. She had not seen her family in over a year other than quick visits. Nalya is 14 and she is coming to live here with us. She knows her Aunt Lil' who lives in the estates, so she is coming to live with her. Nalya is sad and upset, but she spent most of her life at boarding school, so she says she is doing ok. She is seeing a therapist. Nalya is amazing, she speaks Bengali from Bangladesh, Gaelic and English from Scotland. She wants to add a couple more languages, her teachers say she is gifted for learning languages and speaking the accents right too. She is thinking French and Pilipino. Maybe Russian too. She got to choose her boarding school so she chose Edinburgh, Scotland to go the last five years. Before that she was in Bangladesh and then England. Now she will attend day time classes and be home and free for the evenings. She is looking forward to real food and company. Nalya is an amazing person; she has the kindest spirit and loves God with all her heart. She is hoping to make it here by the time we start the new study. If not, she will do it online from the train, she is loving traveling on it. She has been sleeping a lot though, she is still weak from the crash and Aunt Lil' went to travel home and not have her alone on the train. It is safer with someone else, especially when she is tired and not feeling the greatest. They are having fun while she is up.
She has written letters back and forth with Aunt Lil' they have visited so they are good friends. They are not blood family but they are family the same. Aunt Lil' was her mama's best friend in college too. Talk to you laters,

I hope you will enjoy the new year and new style of study. We are excited to share this with you on my Bible study blog that is for all people to come to in love and acceptance. We believe that God's words are for everyone and there is no judgement here from us. We just want to share God's message of love. Start the New Year Right!!So, we are starting with Ephesians. It is a good book of Christ and the good news that He loves us. There is nothing you can do to not be loved by God, if You come to Him and follow Him you will always be His. He forgives anything that we do wrong when we come in repentance and ask forgiveness. He really does love us in a way we have never been loved.
