Joyful in hope. Patient in affliction. Faithful in prayer. This scripture Romans 12:12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; could not be more perfect for this season of life. It calls us to be joyful in the hope we have for the future, patient in the affliction that our world faces, and faithful in prayer to our Lord. Now more than ever we must live out those commands. So in preparation for the upcoming Compassion Sunday would you join us in prayer? a call to HOPE!! Prayers for Children: Ask God to provide food for hungry children, medical care for those facing illness, hygiene materials for the ones without and spiritual care for kids who desperately need it. Pray that many children living in poverty will receive sponsors this Compassion Sunday and that those new relationships would bring so much joy and hope. Prayers for Others:
Pray for the restoration of hope and health in our families, churches and communities. Ask God to work in and through the other people who are speaking up on behalf of children this Compassion Sunday and that thousands of people would respond by sponsoring a child.
